Can I convert my 3DStudioMaX files into XFiles?

DirectX contains a utility called "conv3ds.exe" that converts 3Ds models produced by Autodesk 3D Studio and other modelling packages into X Files. You can produce Binary or TextMode XFiles using this command-mode utility. With DirectX9 they are also giving plugins for popular 3D modeling packages like Max (version 3, 4, and 5) and Maya (version 2.5, 3, and 4).
