I have DirectX8.1 SDK installed and I tried to install DirectX9 SDK too. But my DirectX9 applications are not working properly?
Before installing DirectX9 SDK you had to uninstall any previous versions. Installing on top of a previous installation will cause you problems. So you have to uninstall both of the SDK's first using Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and then install DirectX9 SDK.In addition, you should uninstall any DirectX SDK installations that may be part of a Microsoft Platform SDK installation before installing the DirectX 9.0 SDK.
