When I press the PrintScreen Key during my DirectX Programs, I don't get the current screenshot in my clipboard. Why is it so?

Even if you press the PrintScreen button, it's only when you reach the message-pumping functions (GetMessage & TranslateMessage) that the DisplayFrontBuffer will be transfered to the ClipBoard. Thus if you are using a function that displays an animation of a scene before a message-pump you will only get the last frame of the animation by pressing PrintScreen. To solve this problem use a screen-capture function inside your animation function that will help you to capture any of the in-between frames through a key press( Attach the sample header "CapScrn.h" to your header and call the "SaveScreenshot" function with the window handle and desired window width and height of capture). On the other hand you can also play your animation frame in each message-pump and thus copy the desired display front buffer to the clipboard.
