Personal Page Help

What is my personal page?
Your personal page contains information you wish to share with other users. You can tell everyone who you are, where you're from, what you do and more. None of this information is required, it's only for your convenience.

How do I access it? Where do I find it?
On the left, after logging in, you will find a box entitled "Members". In it you will find various links that you will find to be of interest. One of them is labeled "My Page". This is where you will find your personal page.

How do I change my personal page?
One of the other links in the Members box is "My Settings". This link will provide you with access to edit your settings, including notifications, password, email address and more.

What are the skills?
The Skills is a list on your personal page provided so that you can tell the world what you are good at. This is also optional, you don't have to fill it out.

What are notifications?
When certain things happen, such as a message being responded to, you can recieve an email telling you about it. These settings control what events cause you to recieve these emails.

What are page bookmarks?
You can bookmark virtually any page on Programmers Heaven. This lets you look at a list and go straight to that page instead of navigating through the normal site.

What is the friends page?
The "My Friends" page allows you to build a list of people you like to communicate with or want to have quick access to their pages. One advantage is that when you send mail, you can quickly select a "friend" instead of having to type in the user's name.

How do I find the personal page for a certain user?
In the box on the left of every page, you will see a link to the User Search page. Just fill in all or part of the user's name and click "Find User".

You can also click on the username wherever you see it.
