What kind of resources can I submit?
Programmers Heaven accepts several kinds of resources so you can submit in several ways:

• Products, Sourcecode & Files
• Links to articles and tutorials
• Links to your website
• Links to other websites
• Post content on CodePedia
• Press-releases & Annoucements

Why should I submit a resource?
If you submit a resource to Programmers Heaven, it becomes available to the over 500,000 visitors we have every month! Also, all new resources are included in our newsletter which is sent out to over 33,000 subscribers every month!

How much does it cost?
Submission is free! You can submit software, links, articles and other resources at no cost to you.

What about posting an article?
Programmers Heaven gladly accepts and publishes articles written by our users. If you have written an article that you would like us to publish, submit it and we'll publish it if it is found to be of high quality and sufficient interest to our readers.

If you prefer not to publish your article here, you can still get it listed by submitting a link to it.

How do I submit a press release?
Simply go to the contact page and fill in the form. Put your type of text as subject. Acceptable items are listed on the page and include:

• Press releases
• New products
• Reviews
• Seminars

Note that the news must be current (within the last 30 days) and is subject to editing if needed.

Can I upload my software to your server to get hosted?
Yes, you can upload files to our server. Please note the following:

• We don't accept commercial files.
• They must be smaller than 1MB.
• File must be compressed using the ZIP format.
• You can download WinZip or PKZip from WinZip's homepage.
• The zip must include a readme.txt textfile that describes the file and author.

How do I get my software listed on Programmers Heaven?
Select "Submit > File" in the horizontal menu, or select and item from the dropdown. This link will allow you to submit software, articles, links and more. Click on the appropriate link (Manual Submission, PAD, RSS XML, etc.) and follow the simple directions.

Do I have to upload to your server to get listed?
No, if you don't want to upload your file (or don't have one), you can submit a link to the product's homepage or download page.

I don't have a file for my product. Can I get listed anyway?
Yes. You can just submit a link to the products' homepage or website.

How do I update my software?
To update a manual submission, click on the "Submit" in the menu and select File where all your file submissions are listed. Simply click "Edit" and do your changes.

How do I update my PAD listing?
Programmers Heaven regulary downloads the XML files to check if they have changed. If they have changed we will import the changes to our database. So all you have to do is to update your PAD XML file on your server and we will do the rest. You can always resubmit the PAD XML file if you want the changes to get added quicker to the site. We regulary check the XML file a few times per month for changes.

How do I get my software removed?
For a manual submission, it's the same as updating. To update a manual submission, click on the "Submit" in the menu and select File where all your file submissions are listed. Simply click "Remove".

How do I remove my PAD listing?
Please contact us and tell us what file you want to have removed, at the moment you can not remove PAD submissions online.

What is PAD?
PAD (Portable Application Description) is a standard for automated submission of programs to websites like Programmers Heaven and others.

Instead of filling out long forms for each product on each site you can now submit your product to this site and others by simply clicking a button. PAD works like this:

1. You publish a special .XML file that describes your product on your webserver.
2. You submit the full URL to this XML file to this site via the form.
3. Done! That's all you have to do to get your product listed here.

When we receive your PAD file URL, our system will download the XML file and import it into our database. After that, it will be added to the queue of submissions waiting to be validated and checked by us. If it passes our screening process, the product will be listed on this site.

Why should I use PAD?
PAD makes it easy to submit content to Programmers Heaven without having to register or fill out long and boring forms! It allows you to skip the login process completely to make submitting even easier.
