Aspose.PowerPoint, from Aspose Pty Ltd and
now at version 1.4, delivers Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in a desktop
or web server environment without Microsoft PowerPoint installed.

Written in 100% managed C#, Aspose.PowerPoint features full support
for C# and Visual Basic .Net.

With this product, you can:
1. Open, read, save and create new Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
2. Change standard text placeholders as well as custom text frames.
3. Replace background pictures with any picture from presentation or with
new picture.
4. Change PowerPoint presentations via API.
5. Change PowerPoint presentations with Windows Forms applications and Web
Forms applications.
6. Customize your PowerPoint presentation reporting application in minutes
or hours from fully-featured demos both in C# and Visual Basic .Net.

Why not use the original Office suite automation instead?
Microsoft itself has acknowledged that Office Applications were never
intended for use server-side, and therefore do not take into consideration
the security problems that are faced by distributed components. Office does
not authenticate incoming requests, and does not protect you from
unintentionally running macros, or starting another server that might run
macros, from your server-side code.

Aspose components, on the other hand, run in the same user context as all
ASP.Net applications, under the ASPNET user. Therefore, Aspose components do
not pose a potential risk to vital system resources.

Furthermore, when a document is opened by an Aspose component, macros are
not automatically run.

Aspose components were built with the goal allowing developers to create,
manipulate and save Office files. None of the risk associated with the
Microsoft Office package are inherent to Aspose components.
