link to article either broken or misleading star   Posted by: Alex on Thursday, September 11, 2008

The link points to a store advertising trinkets. It does not point to a programming article.

... is inherently system dependent not to mention generally unnecessary and in my view, wipes out good information. (I'm speaking of the command line). I run programs for their info -- clearing the screen wipes that out. It is a newbie thing, anyway -- every newbie thinks their wonderful code should start with a clean slate. It isn't necessary.

What more is there to say about clearning a screen? star   Posted by: bilderbikkel on Friday, February 06, 2009

Not much (for this three stars), the ad makes me want to disencourage people from following this link (for that minus two stars). I hope the author rewrites the article on an ad-less website.

Umm nice idea, wrong place for it starstar   Posted by: FeRReT on Tuesday, March 03, 2009

honestly thats very OS bias, you could just use system("cls"); considering it's a console app.
