Microsoft Access is a popular and widely used database management system, which is part of Microsoft Office Suite of products. It is an ideal DBMS for small and medium sized businesses to effectively manage their data. MS Access enables you to share the database over network and simultaneously update it. However, this configuration may cause database corruption in some situations and put you in need of Access database recovery solutions.

As a real-time example of this problem with Microsoft Access database, you may run across database corruption in following scenarios:

• You have one MDB file/Access database that is shared between two users. • Both the machines have different operating system and Access versions. • Suddenly the database is not accessible and you get the following message every time you try to access it: “The Microsoft Office Access database engine could not find the object. MS Access has turned out to be one of the most integral applications of the corporate organizations due to its enormous and advance features. Hence, the popularity of MS Access is increasing day by day. MS Access stands out from the rest of its peers as it is integrated with a user friendly graphical user interface and comprises of Jet Database Engine. These features make the presence of MS Access database significant.

Large organizations use MS Access to store significant data. Hence, corruption of MS Access database is not at all acceptable.

Once the MS Access database file or the MDB file gets corrupted, you are not able to access any data from it. Moreover, corruption in the MS Access database file or the MDB file may lead to data deletion from the MDB database records.
