Need Help creating a software update program

I am trying to create a program that will scan a users machine and registry, give them a list of what software they have, check the internet for updates, give a list of updates and then lets them choose what they want to update by placing a check mark next to the update and then when they choose download, it downloads everything in one shot without any more user intervention. Does anyone know how to even go about doing something like this? Please advise. Thank you. Please cc all responses to [email protected]

ok what if i write u a program and just leave the about box 4 u to fill in?
ur supposed 2 ask for specific questions not sharing ur dreams
u cant write such program cause each individual program has its own method and address of update. a list of all updateable programs doesnt even exist
