Migration to 32-bit VB from VB3

I am trying to migrate an application from VB3 to a 32-bit version of VB (preferably VB6). Several third party .VBX files are used by the application (FPGRID10, MHINREL, MHINDAT, MHGCMB, MHGLBX, MHCM200, MHTAB and BLASTER) and when opening the application VB6 cannot find the upgrade keys - understandably. Please could someone tell me - do i need to buy new (.OCX?) versions of these files? from Becubed and FarPoint? Or isn't it that simple.

With love from a confused Lucy new to VB!

  • You probably need to get new ocx's or (if possible) write some pure code that will do the same thing.
