I would like to take a poll of people who are interested in forming a non-profit group making and

distributing dependable open-source freeware. Mostly interested in Win32 Asm or C

programmers. Yes, No? Ja, Nein?

    :

I have always been interested in developing freeware,

and getting involved in creative and interesting

projects. For example, I helped a friend bring

some Unix e-vapor ware to reality. However, most

of these projects I have became involved in wound

up dead-ends. People loose interest, get jobs, etc.

I love assembler, it took a great while to master,

however, I look ahead, and see Merced. It seems

all those years of work will become obsolete in

this new architecture. Moreover, the move to

develop for Win32 will most likely become so too.

I think the best future for assembler programmers

is stickin to x86 dos. That is getting involved in

    FreeDos, Seal, Allegro, etc.

    Whatever...
