greetings..
I'm working on a program that's required to be very user friendly
and easy to use for factory workers. It's a simple time card program,
but I want to look like a regular time card on the screen and as
well as the printout. Is there anyway I can scan a picture or draw
it for that matter and lay my input and label fields on top of it? If you have any recommendations, please feel free to reply, it would be appreciated.
Thanks.
ps. i don't have to use visual basic if someone has a different language in mind

Unless you have a complex timecard and/or a logo, I usually just lay out a series of shapes, lines, labels and textboxes in the appropriate positions.

You can scan timecard save it's as bmp/jpg/gif file then load it to Picture control. Now you can use Picture control as conteiner, place there another controls such as Text box, Labels, Command box. Other way, you can use saved picture file as a Form picture.
I guess creating the app isn't the challange, but how do I print
it out the same way it looked on the screen?
thanks

You should use the .PrintForm method of the desired form.
Good Luck ;o)
