PHP Mail

Hello,
I am using PHP mail and everything is fine except the name display in the Inbox. It is giving me all the details(domain name, machine name and the email address). Instead of this i need to display only the name which i am accepting from the user. Can anyone tell me how do I get this on my mail.

Regards,
Keerthi

  • Keerthilatha probably means the Outlook (Express) inbox folder where you see the sender of the message
    You can set the sender with mail("someone@host.com", "The Subject", "Your
    Message", "From: Somebody ");
    This will display the sender name as "Somebody" and replying to this will e-mail to somebody@host.com
    The "detailed information" might be because of the from-header missing from the e-mail

    Aboslutely! If he/she would bother to read the manual, he/she would find it there and wouldn't come here. You gave a polite version of RTFM :D no offence
