Hi,
I have a big problem.
I run delphi 7 ok. while i run my program through delphi, i get access violations. the issue is, when i click on the ok button to check the error, it doesn't show me in delphi. in other words, while the program is running, the access violations pops up. it keeps running.
how can i find that error ?
any help would do.
regards

These kinds of errors are very hard to track down, because they occur somewhere between the lines of code, or in one of the windows kernel libraries. The best way is to step through the entire event, where the error is occuring and first localize the error. Once you know the location of the error, check all the relevant variables for the lines around the error location. Also check if any referenced objects (and their owners) are valid. Also pay close attention to all pointers (variables and record/object-fields).
