RobotWars (Official game of the QBasic Station)

The only game around where you play not by controlling a sprite, or clicking buttons here and there, but by writing code. Create your own battle robots to complete missions, then download other programmers' scripts (from the QBasic Station) to test against your own programming.

Tutorial on 'RoboScript' is included. Visit the QBasic Station (http://www.qbasicstation.com) for more information and to download the game.

There are already some games like that, and RobotWars was probably inspired by them.
I think that those kind of games was inspired from variouse simulations programmers must sometimes write (like in multiprocessing class :) ).
