Hello, I have tried to write a javascript. However, after i tested my script. I found out that it only works in firefox but not in IE. Does anyone have any idea that why is it like this?

Yes, because Microsoft considers itself above the rest of the browser producers and think they don't need to adhere to standards, like everyone else.
    Solution:
    - write your javascript code twice: once for firefox/opera/safari and once for IE
    - inform your users not to use IE, but a good browser instead.

I have tried the script on each individual browser and it all works except IE. Maybe I can paste the code here and hope you will be able to make works in IE.

The output from other browsers is the result I wanted but the output from IE is undefined.

This code does not throw error in my browser. Perhaps it is in the way you manipulate the DOM.

By The Way, I only use notepad, so using the all the code &<> would be helpful
