I'm using MS Visual C++ 2005 Express because a beginner's tutorial I'm reading, uses this program. On a different computer, I wanted to have line numbers displayed in my programs but I inadvertently did something more. If I had errors in my program, now, (I think it was the output window), that now displayed what line an error was on! It made it much easier to find the small mistakes I was making. But the compiler on that computer failed... and I couldn't repair it so I switch to a different computer. But now when I make errors, I can't find where they are... and I don't know how to get the compiler to tell me what line an error is on.
Any help with this will be very much appreciated.
I'm working with a few handicaps. Dyslexia, ADD, and very poor eyesight.
