parameter value with spliting array

Hello,
i just use a procedure, which can only use a small range of an array. The input array ist n times bigger as the array in the procedure. I would do this procedure several times. Its for speed up an so.The procedure cant change!
But how can i take the parameter value? I only need a part of the array!
In C its very simple, i only input the first value from the array and then it works, but how can i do it in delphi?

c-code: procedure(array[value])

The value is the start value, which is the first in the procedure.

Thanks for the fast answers.

If you need more than 1 element, you can use the Copy() or Slice() functions. If you want a single element from the you can use the c-code given above directly. The Copy() and Slice() are described in the help-files.
