Is VC++ better to write games in than a regular C++ compiler or is it vice versa? why?

    Watcom or VC++ is the best compiler to write Win32 games. DJGPP and Watcom are the best for DOS games.



    You can use the Allegro graphics library (http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/) on VC++ and DJGPP along with GCC on unix, etc.
