Buon Giorno all,
This should be simple, but being the novice I am I still haven't figured it out. I wrote DOS window C++ program that I actually use at work, and there are times when I need the screen to freeze so I can write down the numbers, then I want to press a key to continue. The only thing I've been able to do is something along the lines of:
cout << "Press any key then enter to continue...";
cin >> userContinue;
Problem is, this requires two key strokes. I've gotten used to it, but I shared the program with a co-worker and the first thing he said was that it would be nice to be able to hit ONE key to continue (and anyhow, I'm lazy too). Is there any way to do this so that I can kit one key (preferably any key, including but not limited to the enter key) to continue the program?
I did a search of these messages and didn't find anything.
Thanks in advance...
