Putting a date in TPW

For a computing project in school, I'm doing a rental store in which I'm trying to implement a date system to show an item is overdue. Is there any way I can read the date from my computer or something of the sort? I'm using TPW 1.5 btw.

I am not familiar with TPW 1.5, but as far as I know is based on TP6. So you could try the getdate(var year, month, day, day_of_the_week: word); procedure to get the current date, given that you have the crt or wincrt unit available. Also could try the following code (no units needed here):
function get_year:word;assembler;
asm
mov ah,2ah
int 21h
mov ax,cx
end;

function get_month:byte;assembler;
asm
mov ah,2ah
int 21h
mov al,dh
end;

function get_day:byte;assembler;
asm
mov ah,2ah
int 21h
mov al,dl
end;

function get_day_of_week:byte;assembler;
asm
mov ah,2ah
int 21h
end;
