Is a sample Visual Basic program that shows how to begin to
access some of the low level midi capibilities of Windows using
Visual Basic. I have included an outline for a complete article
on this subject if a publication is interested in having me
developing this further.

I tried pressing piano keys after running the application but I could hear absolutly nothing.
I could hear the intro music that gets played auotmattically when u run the application.
Can you please suggest what is the problem???

there is a volume slider people, make sure to turn it on... :)

it's an okay sample program, what I really want is a fullscale MIDI library that will let me choose instruments and play notes. i'm getting a third keyboard soon and i'm building notation software but i need the actual midi base.
