You don't know what you're talking about. starstar   Posted by: Haroldo O. P. on Friday, April 30, 2004

From my knowledge I can say that:

Turbografx-16 does have better graphics

Sega Genesis has a MUCH better processor (EVEN for data moving, unlike what the author says. Genesis even has a DMA controller for moving large blocks of data)

As for cartridge capacity, TG-16 can only access 32KBbytes (128 MBit) of cartridge data at a time, requiring bank switching for larger ROMs, while Genesis can access 4MBytes (32MBit) whithout the need for bankswitching. It didn't use 16MBit ROMs before due to pricing considerations.

As for the sound, you can't say a sound generator is better just because it's a PSG. In fact, it's very difficult to say which of the consoles has better sound.
