I'm not using the code itself, but I am using pieces of it. This person actually uses assembly in their routine. I have no clue what he's doing but just borrowing their code has helped!!

Mostly basic lookuptable binary search and interpolate algorithms, but that's about as good as it gets for integers. The asm the other reviewer talked about is just for fast float->int conversion, and for sqrti, where it's not really necessary.
