An STL Error Message Decryptor for Visual C++ 6/7

This package provides a set of tools to shorten the length of
VC++ STL-related error messages, allowing essential information
to fit in status bar line at the bottom of the Visual Studio
IDE. When installed, the "Proxy" CL.EXE provided is found by
the MSVC IDE and invoked as if it were the native CL.EXE
program, and sets up a pipe between the native CL.EXE and Perl.
The Perl output is then captured by the IDE and displayed to
the user. All standard and hash-based STL containers are
supported for the native MSVC6/7, Dinkumware 3.08 and STLPort
4.x libraries. The package also includes the STLTask program, a
taskbar icon utility to manage the filter mechanism. Versions
for use with gcc 2/3, Comeau C++ and Metrowerks CodeWarrior 7/8
for Windows/OS X are also available on the web site.
