That all those diagnostic programs say that you have a 486 CPU?
Well, now there is CPUID.EXE which enables or disables the
CPUID instruction/ID flag so diagnostic programs say you have a
Cyrix 5x86 or 6x86. Some say 'Pentium', but that looks better
than '486'. It works under DOS/ Windows 95 (Run CPUID.EXE prior
to starting Windows 95 (without PLUS!) and Control Panel->
System->General says you have a Pentium :) (With C source)
