Is an image file editor for Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT
3.51 with NewShell. It loads/saves image files in: JPEG JFIF,
GIF 87a/89a, TIFF, Truevision Targa, Windows and OS/2 BMP,
ZSoft's PCX, and PBMPLUS' PBM, PGM and PPM formats.

LView Pro: A God Among Image Viewers

With this wonderful image viewer, after you have drawn your own picture in mspaint lets say, you may open it in lview pro and play around with color schemes, change darkness with a click, dynamically change the memory a file takes up, for example deciding a black and while picture uses just those colors instead of 6.7 million.
Also great for viewing multiple files in a sequence, you can view a series of comics and flip through with clicks, or have it change slides based on time. a must have for various people

I've been using Lviewpro sinece BEFORE this millennium. Can you imagine a powerful image editor that (used to) fit in foppy disk & can run WITHOUT prior installation.
Every other is just a footnote. BUT, while ancient softwares are deligated to moulding floppy disks, never again to see the light of day, I still use lviewpro (1995 edition) almost daily on my XP Pro SP2.
A race car of an (elegant coded) image editing/manipulation software.
(p.s. I did not down load the file from here. Mine has been with me since the late 90's from a shared source/friend)
