This is the driver for a camera we used to connect it to a
Mitsubishi M16C microprocessor. The code is by no means
specific to the CPU - it is all in generic ANSI C. See the page
for more details.

Very good port starstarstarstar   Posted by: Mr.MEB on Tuesday, February 06, 2007

That's great, you did what i was planning to do.
Now I'm gonna use this code with other processor. I think it's the cheapest solution for vision on small robot's (3$ for the webcam, a 8-bit MCU to handle the ECP)

Things to do to port it on another micro starstarstarstar   Posted by: Mr.MEB on Sunday, March 25, 2007

I've just port it to a pic18 MCU.
The main changes I have made to make it work:
1) Static memory allocation for *ppacket
2) SHORTEN A LOT Delays ( sleep() function) in SendVPP(..) and SendPacket(...) 3 ASM nops are sufficent for a processor running at 4 MIPS (16 MHz).
Thanks again Mr. Reynolds.
