Advanced Fullscreen Debug v2.0
Submitted By: vdamiano
Yes, old but the best Fullscreen Assembler/Debugger I've ever
seen. Small, simple and very effective. Covers 86 and 286 only.
An excellent learning tool.
NOTE: Some downloads must be obtained through publishers´s site.

AFD Debug is excellent
Posted by: Larry Smith on Thursday, January 09, 2003
I have been using Version 1.1 of afd since
sometime in the last centure, maybe since
like 1984. My registration number is
something like 17 or so.
It is simply the most usefull tool
I have ever encountered for debugging assembly
programs; particularly system software. I had no
idea version 2.0 had become a download.
Needless to say I am delighted!
The only ''improvement'' I would wish is to
support 80386 code.

can any one tell me manual of AFD pLEASE I have to make assignment

Well, I'm equally surprised and honored to read the very positive ratings and see the number of downloads – unfortunately we never sold that much of the AFD-Pro, if we had we surely would have included the 80386 code support ;-)
However, up to now AFD and AFD-Pro never has been freeware (see the copyright), but since this is a very old tool and I would like to support the Programmers Heaven I declare AFD-Pro hereby as freeware.
If there are still request for manuals, we still have some printed on stock.
Enjoy the AFD-Pro and have fun

AFD pro manual

I'm sorry, but we do not have any .pdf of the manual and the printed version is in German only. Try to use the helpfunction with F4. F1 and F2 have been assigned to Single/Procedure step since they are easy to reach without looking to the keyboard. The previous (non pro) version was in Englisch only.

I was a heavy user of AfdPro circa 1987-1988 while working at the IBM Madrid Scientific Center. If I remember well you were then working too at IBM in Boeblingen or Sildenfingen. Since I was frequently there doing RAS tests for some banking hardware products we designed, I even believe I saw your job place (some microcontroller related stuff, I think). Am I wrong?
