Yes, old but the best Fullscreen Assembler/Debugger I've ever
seen. Small, simple and very effective. Covers 86 and 286 only.
An excellent learning tool.

Very useful

AFD Debug is excellent starstarstarstarstar   Posted by: Larry Smith on Thursday, January 09, 2003

I have been using Version 1.1 of afd since
sometime in the last centure, maybe since
like 1984. My registration number is
something like 17 or so.

It is simply the most usefull tool
I have ever encountered for debugging assembly
programs; particularly system software. I had no
idea version 2.0 had become a download.

Needless to say I am delighted!

The only ''improvement'' I would wish is to
support 80386 code.

Surprise .... (Not rated)   Posted by: H.-P. Puttkammer on Wednesday, March 03, 2004

Well, I'm equally surprised and honored to read the very positive ratings and see the number of downloads – unfortunately we never sold that much of the AFD-Pro, if we had we surely would have included the 80386 code support ;-)

However, up to now AFD and AFD-Pro never has been freeware (see the copyright), but since this is a very old tool and I would like to support the Programmers Heaven I declare AFD-Pro hereby as freeware.

If there are still request for manuals, we still have some printed on stock.

Enjoy the AFD-Pro and have fun

The AFDpro ducumentation was never offcially translated from the original German to russian. We only have printed manuals in German left.

AFD pro manual starstarstarstarstar   Posted by: H.-P. Puttkammer (AdTec GmbH Germany) on Tuesday, August 26, 2008

I'm sorry, but we do not have any .pdf of the manual and the printed version is in German only. Try to use the helpfunction with F4. F1 and F2 have been assigned to Single/Procedure step since they are easy to reach without looking to the keyboard. The previous (non pro) version was in Englisch only.
