Visual studio.net is an excellent package and a welcome relief. People don't realize that many developers are just as frustrated by having to do many things the hard way - i.e. plumbing code, API calls, etc. Just because we're programmers doesn't mean that we enjoy having to wade through reference manuals just to do the smallest task.

Finally Microsoft has upgraded nearly everything about visual studio and included a lot of major improvements.

My only beef with the trial version is that it forces you to activate via the internet and limits you to using it on the original machine you installed it on. Make sure before you activate!

i gotta download it to try it.....if i was to pay for the stupid trial....im better of geeting the full software for 10 bucks from local software shops....it should be a free download...this just makes us more frustrated, and probes us to go for other means of source to get it

DATE CHECK PROBLEM. After install says has to correct system date (which is correct already), goes online, supposedly fixes problem at microsoft, shuts down, restarts and loops this routine all over again...never officially opens. no wonder we dont like microsoft.
