Salamander .NET protector is the only technology that offers
real protection for your intellectual properties. In contrast
to an obfuscator that makes decompilation more difficult, our
protector completely stops CIL decompilation and disassembling.
With this tool, you are assured that no one will be able to
steal your source code. With this tool, you no longer need to
worry about the biggest headache of Microsoft .NET platform -

Doesn't work with service packs star   Posted on Thursday, January 09, 2003

It looks like this protector causes our program to fail when it runs under a different framework service pack from the one it was generated. This makes it utterly useless to me. But good idea to start with - I hope they can make it work.

new version rocks starstarstarstarstar   Posted on Wednesday, June 04, 2003

The new version 1.1 seems to have solved the version independent problem

Still breaks with service pack upgrades star   Posted on Tuesday, March 30, 2004

They have fixed 1.1, but now 1.2 breaks. Their method of protecting byte code will always break your program when a new service pack comes out because it does some low-level hacks that are not friendly with .NET and have to be fixed for each new release. I would stay away from this.

stay away star   Posted on Wednesday, October 13, 2004

the hacks done in the assembly will never work in future releases and they tend to disappear as soon as possible

MAN $2,000 this is INSANE!!! starstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstarstar   Posted on Saturday, March 12, 2005

$2,000 just to compile your code into native, this is something microsoft should be giving with the framework anyway... I wonder why they don't put the price in the description above and they say 0.00... good idea, but WAY OVER priced... they only offer 1-5 licence, what do you do if you are not in a company and you work alone? this is just insane...

Useless   Posted on Friday, April 01, 2005

Purchase full copy and have had nothing but trouble. It seems like a one man company with support almost non existant. Product has not been completely tested and am now not using the product at all. Stay well away.
