Beyond Compare is a directory compare utility and a file compare utility wrapped in one. Synchronize files between laptop and PC, home and office, etc. Compare directory trees side-by-side with mismatches highlighted. Display text files side-by-side with changes highlighted. Great for merging changes to source code. Supports minor editing, Unicode text files, and Delphi form files. Save favorite sessions for quick access. Built-in FTP and zip support.

Nice piece of comparision software. The guessing saying if it is important difference or not is good.
The UI is also slick

I've been looking for a tool which will report file tree differences for ages.
But this one does more! It's easy to use, well laid out, and function packed.

There are some more sophisticated tools with way more feature-packed interfaces. But this tool works and does exactly what you want and thence you actually use it and will for sure love it :-) It's truly simply the best diff tool out there. Period.
