The TatukGIS Developer Kernel (DK) is a comprehensive SDK for the development of custom GIS applications and solutions. Depending on the preferred development environment or platform, the DK is provided as four separate product editions, each reflecting the same framework, API, and technology. These product editions are: 1) manageable .NET component for C# and VB.NET, 2) ActiveX (OCX) control for VB, VB.NET, and C#, 3) native VCL for Delphi and C++Builder, and 4) .NET Compact Framework component for CF 2.0 and 3.5.

The Developer Kernel supports most GIS/CAD vector, image, grid, SQL database layer formats, and GIS features and functionality. Supported database formats include Oracle Spatial/Locator, ArcSDE, Geomedia, OpenGIS SQL layers, and TatukGIS binary. The trial version is provided with 50 source code samples in Delphi, C++Builder, Visual Basic, VB.NET, and C#.
