Not the C code of course, I mean Smalltalk. The cool meta-model and the pure object-oriented aproach are just unbeatable.

Special version of Little Smalltalk for Amiga starstarstar   Posted by: Jim Steichen on Wednesday, February 25, 2004

Little Smalltalk V3.09 is okay if you only want text-only output. There is a
version of Little Smalltalk for the Amiga that has a full GUI & a rudimentary
browser. It's called AmigaTalk.
Look for amigatalk.lha at aminet:
http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/pub/aminet/dev/lang/amigatalk.lha
for a version of Little Smalktalk that's written especially for the Amiga
PC!

I've downloaded and played around with it, but just about everything I type into it comes back as an error. I even tried pasting the individual lines from one of the .st files that came with it, and nothing does anything useful. The only thing I can get to work is the evaluation of existing objects and basic math like '2 + 5'. Trying to create a class yields nothing but error messages, and the documentation has no workng examples. Does anybody know if there are any other docs to explain how to actually do something useful with it?
