The EAF HC11 Simulator/Trainer allows the user to run and debug
code graphically. Also included are several virtual
peripherals, such as a 320x 240 graphics display, two 16x1 line
alpha numeric displays, a six digit seven segment LED display,
a 20 key keyboard, and others. All peripherals look and work
like the real thing, the user can write HC11 code to talk to
all of them. 30 break points may be set and cleared graphically
with the mouse in the AS11 list file(other list files will be
supported later). A custom monitor allows you to set a start
address and launch your program as well as view and modify
memory locations. The monitor comes up while launching the
simulator, you can replace the monitor with your program or
another monitor such as buffalo.

This program made it unbelievably easy to understand micro-controllers. By letting the user see everything that’s going on inside the HC11 processor and external memory. Highly recommended for the beginner as well as the advanced user.
