3Dgpl stands for 3D Graphics Portable Library. The library is
written in C and it provides a set of basic tools for 3D
graphics applications and demonstrates the techniques that are
commonly used. Although it was written with educational goals
in mind, and clarity at times took precedence over performance,
much of the code can still be used for practical development.
Please refer to "3D Graphics Programming: Games and Beyond" by
Sergei Savchenko, ISBN 0-672-31929-2, SAMS Publishing, 2000.
for information about algorithms and techniques used. 3Dgpl is
under the GNU Library General Public License. Please refer to
this license (which is included with the library) for the terms
and conditions of the library's distribution and use.
