VIR's Intuitive Power Management source code focuses on
enhancing battery management accuracy and extending battery
life, by recognizing batteries are "chemical components" in
electrical designs, and thereby optimize system level power
management as the battery powered products are used. IPM
technology enables system designers to easily and
cost-effectively design-in VIR's solutions that extend battery
life. These IPM solutions acknowledge differences in battery
chemistry, determine the "state-of-energy" of the battery or
power source, and provide feedback to the system so that the
system can minimize power consumption.
