The ProfDHTMLEdit component allows Delphi and C++Builder
application developers to incorporate "what you see is what you
get" (WYSIWYG) HTML editing capabilities into their
applications. The component uses Microsoft's Component Object
Model (COM) technology to provide access to editing services
such as basic HTML formatting, tables, undo and redo, etc. The
editing environment provides a faithful representation of what
the document will look like in the browser. In addition, the
code of the component also accesses the DHTML document object
model (DOM) to add sophisticated, custom editing features to
the component.

Great job. Thanks.

Only if you don't need tables! starstar   Posted by: Jan Stephan Grun on Monday, January 21, 2008

The table support for this well known component is very basic. So be careful, if you customes should use tables for formation or design tasks. You can not select cells (you have to select the text inside the cells to select the cell, so e.g. you can not select empty cells), you can not select columns at all (e.g. to merge them) and all of the resize-support for columns and rows is just wrong and broken.
