Sample C code to resolve MX records of addresses. If you've
ever tried to use res_query() before you'll know what a pain it
can be. This sample provides a quick interface and/or demo.

Does one thing and does it well. starstarstarstarstar   Posted by: Nick Rawlings on Monday, April 26, 2004

Fine complete example using resolver library. Works great, compile to .o and just use extern int getmx(char *, char *, int) like a library function. I'm actually interfacing to it in an Ada program that sends emails and requires this specific feature.

Not too useful starstar   Posted on Tuesday, July 11, 2006

Does what it says on the tin, that is it's only an example of MX records, no help on resolving A records is given.
