Fast 32-bit and 16-bit Divide by 1 to 16 - Keil Shell V2.0

The functions fast_long_divide() and fast_int_divide() will
divide a value (dividend) by a divisor in the range 1 to 16
inclusive. These functions are fast because they take full
advantage 8051 microcontroller DIV instruction and require only
one iteration for each byte of the dividend.

Very useful for adapting 8051 to tasks probably better suited to a 16-32 bitter !

These functions certainly work well, but application is obviously limited by the small range of divisors. Excellent for radix conversion.

Hi.

I've just use that code and it works brilliant. it made me save a lot of time trying to implement it myself. It's ideal for divisions by 10.
