LibMyWitch is a Visual Basic ActiveX Control for accessing
every type of MySQL database in the internet. - even if they
are remote hosted behind a firewall. The control uses a new
technology. It creates on the fly a PHP-script, which
encapsulates all queries and works as an interface between the
control and the database. No database drivers (DAO, ODBC, etc,
) are required. Huge queries will be splitted into small chunks
to avoid server script time outs. The control encrypts
(blowfish) and compresses the data and is even able to transfer
data via SSL. If you ever wanted to create a special
application with access to a MySQL database in the web behind a
firewall this control could be the solution for you.
