Rich Web User Interfaces for Business Applications 2.5
The Casabac GUI Server is a servlet-based framework for
creating highly interactive Web User Interfaces. What's special
about this framework? (1) Pages are kept stable in the browser
and are not constantly rebuilt. The user has a fat-client-like
usage experience. (2) Only "net data" of a page is exchanged
between browser and server. (3) Development is very easy and
just requires Java knowledge in order to write the server side
modules. Layouting is done in a WYSIWYG editor. Eclipse plugin
is available. (4) Internationalization (language, date
formates, ...) is built in. (5) Open and extensible control
concept. The framework is designed to offer a rich GUI to
business applications through the standard browser (IE >= 5.5,
Mozilla >= 1.4). Without plugins!
