I've searched the Web for a Function like this and it's really the best i've found. I've added these declarations to the Functions head to make it 'Option Explicit'-Conform: Dim L&, C&, S& Dim Cr$, Crlf$, Text$, NextLine$ Dim DoneOnce As Boolean Really Great. Peter
