Understand for C++ is a reverse engineering, documentation and metrics tool for C and C++ source code. Painkiller for software maintenance

We have used this tool for almost a year on a project that has about 1,000,000 lines of C and embedded SQL (Oracle Pro*C).
The project setup was easy. I was even prepared to use the C-code generated by Oracle Pro*C as an input to Understand for C++. However, the embedded SQL caused only minor problems to the parsing and was restricted only to the SQL statements.
One of the most useful features has been the impact analysis (call bys), for example if I change code here it affects those parts of the whole project.
What would have been nice to have is a filtering and collapsing on the Call tree to provide a reduced call tree to display e.g. only business process related calls (and leave out any logging or error handling).
Anyway, makes software maintenance a lot easier.

Hi wanted to trace one source code ,so for that i made an attemt to download the trial version of understading the c++ tool. but i was not able to download and install the same
