This program is very handy when you're using a laptop during a plane flight. You can occasionally glance at the remaining battery life and finish important tasks before the battery level goes low or critical. This is good, concise code. I can think of numerous applications for it. If I had written it I would have placed my comments in the active form, not the unused form. I'll be adding "Keep on Top" code to my version so that the form stays visible (selectable via a checkbox), and I'll store the form's screen location so it appears in the same location the next time the program is started.
