Car antennas

Car antennas

You might take your antenna for granted. But with a cellular
phone in addition to the radio in your dash, your car becomes a
traveling trans- ceiver that needs to pick up and (for
cellular) also transmit radio frequencies. Antennas make this
possible, and better antennas give you better quality for both
music and voices.

This article is a good simple explination, but read it with a grain of salt, it does have mis leading ideas. If you realy want to know about antennas, go visit www.arrl.org or some other HAM readio site and reas what they have to say.
