Huffman Encoding in C

The code implements Huffman variable length data compression algorithm to achieve a Minimum variance encoding. Its pretty well commented and for enhanced understanding, try uncommenting the "Temporary Debugging statements" within the huffman_encode() function.

The code is well-commented and I hav given some additional documentation. Also, I hav tested it extensively - right from small words to complete Metallica songs

It executes for all, but I dont know if it gives the OPTIMUM huffman code. I tried out manually for a few small words and it matches, but the large ones - man is not gifted with that much patience I am afraid.

But if there are any probs, do lemme know.
