a great tutorial for hacking a jump and run in assembler. includes: an ascii jnr, and 5 versions of the vga thing, ranging from: draw the level (8x8 pixel boxes) and draw a sprite with clipping, over: pixelperfect sprite to level collision, to: a lively game with smooth parallax scrolling, lots of objects and a simple level menu. only thing missing is sprite to sprite collision, making the gameplay somewhat dull.... all comes in one 64k assembler file with an external mapeditor for *sorry* windows.
