dash bitmap editor. some paintprogram especially designed for me. helpful in making looped images. tons of effects. user palette and editor, multiple frames (saves to own format .dsb), interpolate/mix tool, batch processing, pic to wave, some documentation. this tool has some drawbacks, it's slow and so i stopped working on it. the fx unit is very powerful, though--and the best tool for looped textures/images i've seen
