UptoLog simplifies trouble shooting by gathering error log information to support the process. The error log information gathered by UptoLog is sought out through a web application (UptoLog Search Server) which makes it easy to get an overview of the error situation. By means of an activity ID UptoLog makes it easy to discover connections between errors that occur on different computers - and to visualize the connection via UptoLog Search Server. As a result, errors that used to be difficult to locate because it was impossible to see what caused them can now be immediately corrected as the connection and the cause are clearly visualised.

The UptoLog client (UptoLog Satellite) is integrated into the application and therefore it can log error information from within the individual application and from the server or the client. It is the developer who decides how much information the UptoLog Satellite is meant to collect and send along with the error log.
